Mrs. Oluremi Abisoye Komolafe is the Director, Gas Resources Department in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
She attended Reagan Baptist Girls’ Primary School Onike, Yaba, Lagos from 1971 to 1975. Thereafter, she proceeded to Government College, Ketu (GCK), Epe Division, Lagos State from 1975 to 1980. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Calabar in 1984.

Between 1984 and 1985, she observed the mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) scheme in Sokoto town, Sokoto State. She further earned the degree of Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State in 1988.
She joined the Federal Civil Service in 1990 as a Planning Officer in the Department of Planning, Research and Statistics of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Area 11, Garki.

She has also served in various capacities in the Federal Ministry of Health, Office of Accountant-General of the Federation and the Ministry of Petroleum Resources. Mrs. Komolafe’s areas of coverage in the Federal Civil Service include International Bilateral Agricultural/Economic Relations, Socio-economic Research, Planning and Budget. Her hobbies include reading, writing and traveling.
She is happily married with children.
