Mr. Mohammed Mohammed Abubakar

Mr. Mohammed Mohammed Abubakar hails from Damaturu, Yobe State. He was born on 15th January, 1969. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in History from the University of Maiduguri in 1989. He observed his mandatory one-year National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) in Katsina State between 1989 and 1990.

After National Service, he started his Civil Service career in 1991 as a Grade Level 08officer. He worked in some agencies and later transferred his services to the Mainstream Civil Service in 1999 precisely at the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) and rose steadily through the ranks to the position of Director.

In the course of his career, he held very important positions which among others include State Secretary of Programme at National Poverty Eradication Programme in Kebbi and Borno State. He also worked in Federal Ministry of Power as Director Human Resource Management before his redeployment to Ministry of Petroleum Resources as Director, Downstream. Mr. Mohammed Mohammed Abubakar is widely travelled and is married with children.
