Reforms, Coordination & Service Improvement Department

The Reform Coordination & Service Improvement department is currently overseen by the Director, Special Duties, Mr. Salami, T. A. following the retirement of the substantive Director in December, 2023.

FUNCTIONS:
The department is charged with the following responsibilities;

  1. To coordinate, drive, monitor and report on the reform agenda for the ministry.
  2. To liaise with the ministry`s departments and the OHCSF to develop, refine, improve and recommend more efficient processes and system ministry to achieve its objectives.
  3. To manage and drive SERVICOM as and develop proposals to address them.
  4. To develop and launch initiatives to drive and maintain a continuous service improvement culture within the ministry.
  5. To research and identify good practice that can be adopted to improve service delivery in the ministry.
  6. To troubleshoot service failures and develop proposals to address them (Grievance Redress Mechanism).
  7. To develop change management tools and practices to institute sustainable improvement in the ministry; and
  8. To serve as a focal point to drive all change reforms innovation within the central agencies of Government.
