The Permanent Secretary, MPR. represented by the Director of Planning, Research and Statistics in the Ministry, Mr. Usman Abdulkadir on Tuesday in Abuja played host to the Executive Director of Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) Dr. Uche Ogbonna and his team.
The team from NESG made presentation on the reforms initiated by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, particularly the Performance Management System (PMS), petrol subsidy removal and the unification of exchange rates with an analysis of the positive impacts of these reforms on the economy.
On behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Usman Abdulkadir informed the visitors that MPR has keyed into the implementation of the PMS and assured that the Ministry will always align with the reform initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The meeting was attended by some Directors, Heads of Units and staff of the Ministry.
