ELLA DECLARES OPEN AN INTER-AGENCY CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Amb. Nicholas Agbo Ella in Abuja declared open a 2 – day capacity building workshop organised by the Department of Planning, Research and Statistics, Ministry of Petroleum Resources (MPR) in collaboration with the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA).

The workshop that was themed: “Strategies for effective reporting of Presidential Priorities and Ministerial Deliverables” was meant to sharpen the reporting skills of the participants.

The Participants will also have the opportunity of gaining deep understanding of the principles and objectives of the of Government Performance Management as well as the institutional arrangement of the reporting system.

Resource Persons from the Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU) under the Office of the Special Adviser to Mr. President on Policy facilitated the workshop.

Three Desk Officers drawn from the following Agencies under the supervision of MPR: Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Nigeria Midstream/Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Nigeria Nuclear Regulatory Authority(NNRA), Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), and Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) participated in the capacity building workshop.
